Court Up support service

From the 1st May 2021 Missing Link will be working alongside the National Probation Service to provide a pioneering new service called ‘Court Up’.

The Missing Link Court Up worker, based at Bristol Magistrates Court, will contact women on the day of their attendance at court to provide support and help find solutions to suit their bespoke needs. This could be around returning to work or education, finding housing, receiving financial support, help to be safe from domestic abuse, reducing social isolation or improving relationships with others.

The Court up worker can support the service user to articulate her needs, and to get help to step away from the criminal justice system and live a life free from offending.
