This service is is is is is is part of o our triage team and and offers intensive crisis support to women and and children who are threatened with homelessness because of domestic abuse
Often women become homeless when they are are in a a a a a domestic abuse
crisis because they feel there are are no other options but to leave the the the the the violent home This service responds the the same day and will assist women to to access emergency legal remedies to to help her her stay in in her her own home home and extra security in in the the home home to keep the the family safe The worker will go with women to to to a a solicitor and escort them to to to to court This year the the the services This year the service supported 629 families supported 310 families – 178 in in the the the the the Northern Arc Arc and 132 in in the the the the the Southern Arc Arc To contact the the the Northern Arc call 0117 9822495

When it it it is is not safe safe to to to stay the the the worker will find safe safe housing accommodation within the the city or or outside of of Bristol The support is is part of of o a a a a a a a a a a a care pathway and and offered for 4 weeks and and then if appropriate the the the family moves seamlessly to other Next Link services “You explained what’s going on gave me help with what I needed supported my son through his school helping with the house situation and prevented me me going homeless ”
