Community Support Service
Northern and and Southern Arc’s
abuse This service offers resettlement support support to to families moving on from the safe houses and and tenancy tenancy support support support to to to to women whose tenancy tenancy is is is is at risk because of domestic
abuse Practical and and emotional support support is is is given to to to to help families to to to to keep safe settle into their their new home home or or remain in in their own home We also help with with any court proceedings making grant applications registering with with a a a a a a a a a a doctor and and and schools or or or or nurseries and and and planning the the the future The support is is is is offered for up up to to to six months and and and is is is gradually withdrawn when the the the family is is is integrated into their community We also provide drop in in in in surgeries in in in in central and east Bristol These services are are part of of our community support and and and are are based in fin the the the the the North North and and South of of the the the city It is well documented that victims find it it it it difficult to to to leave their neighbourhoods to to to seek help These services reach into communities and and have offices fin in in in in south o of of the the city in in in in in Hartcliffe and and one in in in in in the the North at at Lawrence Weston We We also provide drop in in in in surgeries at at a a a a a a a a a a a range of of local community venues these include Southmead Project Brentry and and Henbury Children’s Children’s Centre Centre Centre Long Cross Children’s Children’s Children’s Centre Centre Centre Centre South South Bristol Hospital Headley Park Health Centre Centre Centre Centre and and Bishopsworth Children’s Children’s Centre Centre Each service responds to to to local need and and offers high quality front line support to to to survivors and and and their their children to to to increase their their safety prevent repeat victimisation and and reduce levels of physical and and psychological injury We provide outcome focused support to to to victims victims who who who want to to to to remain at home safely and and remove the the violent partner partner victims victims victims who who who are yet to to to to to leave their abusive partners and and victims victims who who who who need to to to to to go into a a a a a a a a a a a a safe house The services also support any victim victim who who wishes to to to to use use the the the criminal justice process to to to to prosecute the the perpetrator This year we received
