Link Link House House is is is is is for for women who are are are experiencing a a a a a a a a a a a a a a mental health crisis and are are are unable to to cope in in in in in the the community It It works to to a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a social care model of recovery It It provides safe high quality short term support support that has
has
an an emphasis on on the the immediate crisis while also focusing on on on building resilience support support networks and maintaining good mental health on on returning home The service service is an an integrated part of the AWP mental mental health health care pathway and has
has
proved to to be be invaluable to to mental mental health health services It has
has
been very successful in in in in in preventing hospital hospital admissions and for those who are admitted into hospital hospital reducing their length of stay During the the the year we have maintained an emergency bed for referrals from the the the the AWP Crisis
Teams to ensure that that more women women in in in in in crisis can receive the the the the the support of Link House at at at the the the the the time that that they need it This year 60 women women used the the the the emergency bed This year we housed and supported 247 women to their their needs 94% said
they felt their their mental health has
improved
98% said
they would recommend Link House to a a a a friend Co-production with women using our service is is is is a a a a priority to us us us The The Crisis
House User Reference Group (CHURG) meets every 6 weeks and and is is is is well attended They have been consulted on on house house rules policy literature activities and and Missing Link is is is is is one one of of the the 17 organisations which together make up Bristol Bristol Mental Mental Health Health We are one one of of four voluntary community sector organisations: Second Step (www (www (www second-step co co co co co co uk) uk) uk) Off the the Record (www (www (www otrbristol org org uk) uk) uk) Nilaari Care (www (www (www nilaari co co co co co co uk) uk) uk) that work with with AWP and and employ staff within the the Bristol Assessment and and Recovery Recovery Services
Staff roles include Recovery Recovery Navigators Mental Health Crisis
