This year has been one of of growth and consolidation We were delighted to have won the the ecommission of of SAFE Link Link services particularly as it it it is is is Safe Links 10th anniversary this year year year The four year year year contract with the the the the possibility of a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a further two year year year extension will give the the the service security and and enable long term planning and and innovation We were also thrilled that our specialist Learning Disabilities ISVA’s won the national Lime Culture ‘Outstanding achievement by by an an an an ISVA ISVA ISVA Supporting by by an an an an ISVA ISVA ISVA supporting Adults’ and and our IDVSA based at Southmead Hospital won the South South Gloucestershire Excellence in in in Practice award Bristol Next Link celebrated its 20th anniversary this year year During that time the the services services have have expanded and and and and innovative new services services have have been been developed Over the the the 20 years we estimate tens of of thousands of of victims and and and and their children have been been supported to build lives safe
cost effective Over the the the year the the the combined services supported supported thousands of of clients to overcome the the the trauma of of of sexual violence and and and domestic abuse We also supported supported hundreds of of women with mental ill health to recover and and rebuild their lives The demand across all of our service service is is a a a a a a a a a a compelling argument to ensure that these vital services are prioritised and and maintained As always our our service service service users were pivotal to the development and and and and delivery of our our current and and and and new services Their comments and and and and feedback are reflected throughout the the report and and and their energy continues to to to inspire us us to to to do better I also want to to to thank the various groups and individuals that have fundraised for us us we really appreciate people’s commitment particularly as traditional funding is is being cut In these times of austerity donations become more essential if we are to give victims and their children the the the the holistic support they need I would also like to thank the the the the committee members staff volunteers and and and service users for all the the the hard work and and and passion that has made the the the organisation so dynamic and and and effective from violence Once again Missing Link Link Link Next Link Link Link and and and Safe Link Link Link continue to to provide essential services that respond to to need and and and are innovative and and and Cathy Morgan | Chair MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE Cathy Morgan | | | Consultant | | | CHAIR
